Brandy Miranda

2022 | Parent

Trying to summarize in one paragraph Ms. Miranda’s roles on the PTA and service in the Flower Mound community for the last 14 years would be a disservice to her and her accomplishments. Brandy has generously given of her time and talents and filled many roles in LISD spanning from BES to Downing through Marcus to come full circle back to BES to do it all again! Ms. Miranda serves in her official capacity to BES as council delegate, room parent for her two children’s classes, and is the 5th-grade room level lead parent. Unofficially, she is lovingly referred to as our local social coordinator for many grade levels: Always planning a holiday party, play dates, MNO, or End of year parties. Her out-of-the-box thinking and advocacy to embrace and engage families inspired her to start the grade level group me’s that have become an essential tool for Bridlewood parents to really dive in and empower themselves to get involved. When Brandy is not hosting a new family meet-up, you can find her also championing the role of President of her neighborhood association. She also carries the honor of being the team representative at Cheer Athletics for her daughter’s cheer team and is this year’s sponsor chair for the Bridlewood Torpedoes swim team.

Jennifer Brown

Jennifer Brown has been an active member of Bridlewood PTA since her kiddos started school there, and strives tirelessly to continue to raise the bar. Prior to her kids starting at BES she was a committed supporter of the school and her community by being a sponsor of Bridlewood Elementary, Bridlewood Torpedoes, and Downing Middle School for several years. She has held several PTA committee positions over the years, and she has served as VP of Ways and Means for the past three. Jennifer has made it her mission to help grow corporate sponsorships and the Bronco Bash auction year after year, even during the challenges presented by Covid. She has a servant’s heart and gives her time not only to the PTA but also to other organizations such as Toys for Tots, hosting an annual toy drive at her husband’s chiropractic clinic; and FMYSA, as a Baseball Age Group Director. She is currently the lead room parent for the 3rd Grade, and is in her final term as VP of Ways & Means. She is looking forward to continuing to help where she is needed within BES PTA and also helping at Downing next year when her older son starts there. Jennifer and her husband James love spending time with their two boys: Jacob and Max, and can often be found on the baseball fields.
